Mum had a dream, and from humble beginnings in 1972 with a small inheritance and a spare room in our home, she was able to provide a supportive place where women of all shapes and sizes could come and choose comfortable and fashionable garments that brought them confidence and joy. We provided “plus sizes” when they were the forgotten customer. Joywood Fashions flourished. Customers visited and continue to visit from all over Australia and around the globe. Mum continued to provide advice, laughter, and encouragement up until she passed in 2018 aged 91, still living her dream and bringing joy to everyday.

Today our bricks & mortar store can be found at 91 Lime Avenue, Mildura; a large spacious treasure chest of clothing and accessories inspired and created to make you feel good on your journey. We are a small family owned business supported by our loyal customers. Joywood is constantly evolving, providing affordable fashion that fits and brings joy.
